The Director of Master Scheduler Process – COE is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of master scheduling processes across the organization. This role focuses on ensuring accurate, efficient, and integrated scheduling processes that drive alignment between demand planning, production, and supply chain functions.The Director serves as a key thought leader and champion of best practices in master scheduling, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery performance, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment with organizational goals.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and communicate the vision for master scheduling within the COE framework, ensuring alignment with Segments goals.
Design and implement a comprehensive master scheduling strategy that supports global demand and supply chain objectives.
Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize scheduling initiatives and improvements.
Process Optimization
Standardize master scheduling practices, policies, and procedures across all manufacturing sites to ensure consistency and scalability.
Develop and maintain performance KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the master scheduling process, such as schedule adherence, on-time delivery, and production efficiency.
Technology and Tools
Lead the evaluation and implementation of advanced scheduling tools and technologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with IT and operations teams to integrate scheduling systems at the global level.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with demand planning, production, procurement, and logistics teams to align global master schedules strategy with supply chain and operational goals.
Continuous Improvement
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the flexibility, reliability, and responsiveness of the master scheduling process.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field;
10+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or master scheduling, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience leading and implementing finite scheduling processes at a global level.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, advanced planning tools, and advanced skills in data analysis tools.

Strong background in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and scheduling software/tools (Kinaxis).
APICS certification (e.g., CPIM or CSCP) preferred.
