Job Description Summary
This role in the Monitoring Solutions Global Product Management team is leading the definition of the product roadmap through the identification of customer needs and business growth opportunities, as well as driving in-market success for the current portfolio with a focus on improving clinical outcomes and supporting value-based healthcare delivery in perioperative care, in close collaboration with our commercial regions for our Adequacy of Anesthesia and Advanced Hemodynamics parameters portfolio.In this role, you will focus on several different aspects of product management from cooperation with cross-functional teams on product development, managing installed base activities, engaging with the clinical community and customer base on voice-of-customer and understanding of evolving needs, following industry trends and gathering competitive insights, building business cases to support investment decisions and supporting successful commercial activation and continued growth of the portfolio through the product lifecycle.
This role will incorporate product management, commercial acumen and continuous improvement mindset, deep domain knowledge with operational efficiency and strategic influencing working with cross-functional stakeholders in a global business environment, supporting a key product portfolio within the 1B+ Monitoring Solutions business.

Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- The Global Product Manager will have accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives relating to the portfolio of responsibility. You will be on point to integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
- Contribute to long-term portfolio strategy by aligning clinical insights, market trends, and business priorities to shape future product direction.
- High levels of commercial skills are required to drive in-market success and growth for the portfolio working with commercial region counterparts in training, marketing, commercial approaches, pricing and go-to-market.
- Developing specialized knowledge of latest clinical, technology and commercial trends in own area and foster relationships to key opinion leaders and other industry partners to contribute towards strategy and policy development.
- Have in-depth knowledge of domain of responsibility; continue gathering working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate solutions in the market, and prime these to support product/sales training and commercial competencies.
- Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Take new perspective on existing solutions. Use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Have strong communication and relationship skills to influence others, and an ability to work in a global business environment across cultures and time zones.
- You will be engaged with strategic technology partners and key customers to ensure that product development strategy matches customer and market needs.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to align product development with clinical and market needs.
- Improve clinician experience by understanding how users interact with products from setup to daily use and driving enhancements across the product lifecycle.
- Support integration of monitoring solutions into digital ecosystems, enabling seamless data integration, analytics, and clinical decision support.
- Operationally, you will manage product lifecycle projects with cross-functional stakeholders for their portfolio, and be on point for quality, customer satisfaction and vitality for their part of the business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Marketing, Business or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of work experience in product management, product marketing or commercial roles in the healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to work in a global and cross functional team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated fluency in English.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of global teams, schedules, and customers.
- Ability to travel both locally and globally 20 % of the time.
Desired Characteristics
- Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Marketing, Business or related field.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders and in working in a matrixed environment, preferably in a medical or healthcare industry.
- Clear thinker with demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Utilize technical expertise and judgment to solve problems. Leverage technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve complex problems.
- Showcase strategic thinking, recommend business approaches, actively seek to improvement opportunities and you are able to defend investment opportunities with business cases to drive business prioritization.
- Have industry knowledge and clinical depth for the perioperative space; able to derive recommendations for product roadmap from market insights.
- Ability to communicate information in an easy-to-understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to independently lead and influence others, demonstrate self-motivation, enjoy navigating complex situations, and enjoy autonomy in execution.
- Previous experience working with internal and external customers and colleagues, including both verbal and written customer-facing communication.
- Demonstrate passion and eagerness for the clinical aspects of monitoring solution products and the patient outcomes we help drive.
