Job Description Summary
The Compliance Monitoring will be part of the GE Healthcare (GEHC) China Investigation, Monitoring & Transparency (IMT) team, which has overall responsibility for local investigations and monitoring support. This role will be conducting compliance monitoring to identify and mitigate the compliance risks of GEHC China Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) on a regular basis and may be asked to assist with Monitoring projects less frequently.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor current and emerging risks within the subject areas, especially for commercial transaction related risks and Improper Payment related risks. Develop a comprehensive understanding of GE HealthCare compliance policies, procedures, controls, systems and processes.
- Based on previous findings and observations, utilize company data and system resources to develop the monitoring / audit plan for compliance related issues.
- Produce clear, concise, relevant and timely monitoring/audit reports. Keep track of monitoring activity planning, scoping, work performed, key findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- As needed, and in partnership with global and regional compliance and other stakeholders, coordinate and/or execute corrective actions arising from investigations and audit/monitoring findings.
- As needed, support to build up digital compliance solutions to drive proactive compliance engagement or facilitate investigation execution.
- Support other ad hoc tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree preferred but not required; pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry in-house experience is required, and compliance investigation capability and experience would be a plus.
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in compliance, law, internal audit, or controllership in a global business environment, including experience in review/audit/monitoring of one or more of the following areas: bribery/ corruptions/other improper payments, conflicts of interest, intellectual property loss, falsified documents/manipulated financial or operational records, procurement fraud and potential violation of competition laws.
- Prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and drive projects to conclusion. Strong sense of urgency with a demonstrated record of meeting commitments despite pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Mandarin and English.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and data processing skills, with proven ability to clearly and concisely prepare, present, analyze, and discuss findings and recommendations at a senior level and produce a clear and compelling report.
- Strong Word, Power Point and Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP’s, pivots) skills. Ability of data processing and utilization. Process and detail-oriented; strong organizational skills. Demonstrated strong process and/or project management skills.

- Highest personal integrity with demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters in a discreet and respectful manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality and inspire trust.
