Job Description Summary

The Neurology Account Manager – Alzheimer’s at GE Healthcare is responsible for driving the commercial success of Vizamyl, a PET amyloid imaging agent used in the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. This role focuses on increasing product adoption through strategic territory management, stakeholder engagement, and educational outreach. The Account Manager partners with hospitals, imaging centers, and pharmacy networks to expand access to advanced diagnostic imaging and support clinical decision-making in a competitive market.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-faceted territory plan for Vizamyl.
  • Position Vizamyl as the product of choice in the PET Amyloid Imaging market.
  • Identify and build relationships with top referring prescribers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Imaging Centers and Referrers.
  • Collaborate with reimbursement market access support teams.
  • Work with pharmacy channel partners to meet product delivery goals.
  • Understand and align with the goals of GE Healthcare's Neurology team.
  • Conduct pre-call planning and in-call questioning to understand customer needs.
  • Monitor territory plan performance and collaborate on next steps.
  • Engage in virtual selling and cold calling to new and existing targets.
  • Manage pricing strategy, price negotiation, and contract compliance.
  • Forecast orders and sales for the assigned territory.
  • Represent the company at healthcare conferences and seminars.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in medical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors.
  • Proven experience selling into hospitals and working within clinical environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in healthcare sales.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to reside within the territory and travel up to 20% overnight.

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior experience in neurology, radiology, or nuclear medicine sales.
  • Familiarity with PET imaging, amyloid biomarkers, or Alzheimer’s disease diagnostics.
  • Experience working with pharmacy distribution channels and specialty pharmaceuticals.
  • Knowledge of payer landscapes, reimbursement processes, and health economics.
  • Demonstrated success in launching new products or expanding market share in a competitive environment.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven territory planning.
  • Ability to deliver clinical education and product training to healthcare professionals.
  • Experience navigating hospital systems, IDNs, and imaging networks.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience representing companies at medical conferences or trade shows.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $120,720.00-$181,080.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
