Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Regional Marketing Strategy & Leadership:

  • Lead the development and execution of the regional marketing strategy across the region, aligning with global business goals and regional market needs.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth in highly regulated healthcare markets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and commercial excellence leaders, to design and implement effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the regional marketing team, building a high-performing, collaborative culture.

Customer Data Strategy, Analytics & Integration:

  • Lead the integration of customer data across multiple touchpoints and systems, ensuring a unified, 360-degree view of customer interactions and behaviors across the region.
  • Oversee the deployment, management and optimization of customer data management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Realtio) to ensure seamless data flow, accurate data capture, and effective segmentation of customer profiles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of various data sources, including digital marketing platforms, sales systems, and third-party analytics tools, to enhance customer insights and drive targeted marketing efforts.
  • Leverage customer data insights to inform segmentation strategies, optimize marketing campaigns, and improve the overall customer experience, driving long-term customer loyalty and lifetime value.
  • Lead B2B marketing initiatives, ensuring an integrated approach across various channels including digital, events, and sales enablement.
  • Champion the use of data to understand customer needs, improve lead conversion rates, and develop predictive models for business decision-making.

Content Marketing & Customer Education:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with customer needs and business objectives, driving engagement and lead generation across digital and offline channels.
  • Build and implement a robust customer education strategy that spans both online and offline formats, including webinars, e-learning modules, workshops, and in-person training, tailored to various customer segments.
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to create educational content that enhances customer knowledge, promotes product adoption, and accelerates the customer journey from awareness to loyalty.
  • Develop and manage a content calendar that supports customer education, leveraging a variety of mediums such as video tutorials, instructional guides, case studies, FAQs, and interactive platforms.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of customer education initiatives through analytics, surveys, and feedback loops, optimizing the approach based on customer engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Ensure that customer education materials are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, especially in the medical device sector, to maintain credibility and compliance.

Commercial Excellence & Performance Optimization:

  • Drive commercial excellence by ensuring the alignment of marketing strategies with sales goals, optimizing the sales pipeline, and improving lead-to-revenue conversion rates.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to design and execute incentive programs, monitor campaign ROI, and ensure effective use of marketing spend across the region.
  • Implement systems and tools to measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring the ongoing optimization of marketing and sales activities.

Budget Management & Resource Allocation:

  • Manage a multi-million-dollar regional marketing budget, optimizing spend across digital campaigns, events, and sales support initiatives.
  • Ensure that all marketing investments align with strategic priorities and deliver a measurable return on investment (ROI).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure optimal resource allocation and execution.

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence:

  • Conduct in-depth market sizing, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities for market creation and share growth.
  • Leverage insights to inform product launches, marketing strategies, and the development of regional growth plans.
  • Lead regional marketing analytics efforts, providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership for decision-making and future planning.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing or commercial excellence within the medical device or healthcare industry, with a focus on market sizing, product marketing, content strategy, and omni-channel execution.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams, with strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Data-Driven Marketing: Expertise in using data to drive marketing decisions, optimize campaigns, and improve customer targeting, with experience in using CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Commercial Excellence: Experience in optimizing the sales pipeline, driving lead generation, and aligning marketing efforts with sales objectives to drive revenue growth.
  • Content & Digital Marketing: Strong background in content marketing, digital marketing (SEO, SEM, paid media, social), and event management to drive engagement and lead conversion.
  • Budget Management: Expertise in managing and optimizing significant marketing budgets to maximize ROI across regional markets.
  • Education: Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA with a marketing specialization is preferred.

  • Experience in leading marketing initiatives across the AKA region, with knowledge of diverse cultural and business environments.
  • Familiarity with medical device industry regulations and the ability to navigate complex healthcare market landscapes.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Proven ability to manage and influence cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., sales, product, IT, and finance teams) to drive alignment and successful execution of marketing strategies.
  • Technical proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems, commercial data platforms, and marketing automation tools to enhance marketing and sales effectiveness.
