As the Clinical Applications Specialist – Interventional & Surgery, you will be responsible for driving and executing the clinical and educational processes and programs while developing strong relationships within clinical customer accounts and providing the clinical support during the sales process range mainly Vietnam and expandable to support other AKA Zones.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Providing expertise anywhere from product demonstrations, to implementation and on-going support.

  • Developing, coordinating and delivering product training to customers and build solid customer relationships.

  • Become recognized expert in product/clinical technical competencies, answer a wide range of questions concerning software and clinical applications.

  • Producing well-written post-training reports and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs.

  • Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies

  • Improve customer satisfaction and install base retention through continuing education on optimization of equipment utilization by customer

  • Support trade shows and professional conferences with educational training

  • KOL Management with product and sales teams

  • Broadening knowledge of own sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups to execute policy/strategy. Still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.

  • Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

  • May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require commercial knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

  • A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachlor degree in Medical Imaging

  • Not less than 2 years of experience in the intervention Labs ( Cathlab ) and C-arm in operating theater

  • Willingness to travel extensively within Vietnam and AKA

  • Clinical experience in large hospital/university setting preferred

  • Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired)

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and present complex material in understandable terms

  • Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills (ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to external customers, global counterparts and to team members in other functional organizations)

  • Solid problem solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues and propose solutions to both internal team members and external customers)

  • Proven professional business acumen (experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process)

  • Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve

  • Team oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset

  • Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time

  • Willingness to be flexible/adapt to changing work environments

Desired Characteristics

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Proficiency in using communication tools such as email, instant messaging, and video conferencing platforms.

  • Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)

  • Certification in English language proficiency (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS) (optional but advantageous).
