As Lead System Designer, IB, you will be responsible for investigating key customer product quality and safety issues, performing risk assessment and evaluating business affect, utilizing your experience and technical expertise to solve complex problems, while ensuring compliance with risk management, design control procedures and standard/regulatory change, driving continuous product quality improvement and customer satisfaction through design perspective, as well as working as a presenter or reviewer in technical& project reviews, surveillance, and audits.GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. Job Description
Responsibilities
- Developing in-depth knowledge of technical discipline and patient monitoring system, using acquired technical expertise and product knowledge to lead investigation, perform risk assessment, recommend approaches for problem solving to meet business requirements and customer expectation.
- Formulate and implement plans for problem solving.
- Organize the brainstorming, recommend approaches, and develop action plans to solve the critical IB technical issue and program requirements.
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the key customer product quality and safety issues while consistent with risk management and design control procedures.
- Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant changes.
- Take lead continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions.
- Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical& program reviews, surveillance, and audits
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, Electric Engineering, or Computer Science
- At least 3 years of engineering experience, knowledge & experience conducting design and service of medical device preferred.
- Strong technical skills, analytic thinking, data analysis, process orientation to lead investigation, recommend approach, make decision to resolve problems.
- Strong technical document written and logical communication skills
- Ability to influence others, create cohesive groups and reach alignment among different stakeholders
- Good oral and written English
