The Repair Operation Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing the repair operations of various GEHC products, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with product standards. Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of repair technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Repair Operations: Oversee the repair of medical devices, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks. Establish bonded repair shopfloor workflow and daily performance monitoring to meet customs supervision requirements and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor product quality control procedures to ensure repairs meet product standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory of repair parts and tools, ensuring availability and proper stock levels.
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and concerns, providing excellent service and support.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repair activities, including work orders, parts used, and technician performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure all repair operations comply with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Biomedical, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Operation, or medical device repair.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Masters
  • Experience in bonded production management is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify & implement best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform with high levels of ambiguity.
