This Mergers & Acquisition, (M&A) Leader will be responsible for leading processes to derive the strategy for Molecular Imaging Computer Tomography ( MICT) and the sub-segments within MICT, including analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives, ultimately guiding the company towards sustainable growth and success.GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. Job Description
Responsibilities
Develop and articulate the company's overall strategic vision, including long-term goals and objectives.
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify potential opportunities and threats.
Identify and evaluate new business ventures, partnerships, and acquisition opportunities to drive growth.
Clearly communicate the strategic vision to all levels of the organization and inspire buy-in.
Develop and leverage close relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to obtain unbiassed assessment of potential inorganic opportunities and partnerships
Scout for, develop, and manage relationships with promising M&A and minority investment targets that can accelerate our strategies and drive financial returns
On potential M&A transactions, partner with Business Development to help the business assess the strategic fit and clinical relevance, as well as participate in key parts of diligence overall.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Minimum eight years of experience and with a minimum of four years of relevant business leadership or consulting experience
Healthcare industry domain experience
Technical or clinical background
Ability to analyze complex situations, identify key trends, and develop comprehensive strategies
Strong data analysis and interpretation skills to inform strategic decisions
Excellent communication skills to effectively present strategic plans and influence stakeholders
Deep understanding of business operations, financial analysis, and industry dynamics
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build consensus across different departments
Desired Characteristics
Strong analytical and process skills
MBA or master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration or related field
Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization & branding
Experience in software industry or in marketing software platforms
Experience in new market creation & go-to-market
Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
Team oriented – ability to motivate & work well with diverse, global and cross-functional teams
Influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
