The senior architect for mechatronic on motion control will drive high business impact innovation and make outstanding contributions to product evolution. Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Drive product evolution with innovative design and high quality and affordable cost through new excellence motion control system.
Lead the different kind of motion transmission system design and related performance analysis & optimization and motion driver setting & tuning.
Implement multi-axis synchronization and coordination and dynamic analysis.
Responsible to solve complex problems.
Review and approve related motion control design to ensure the quality.
Identify team competency gap and create development plan to drive team technical excellence.
Coach and mentor engineers for technical growth.
Drive the related design guideline creation and implementation.
Broad influence over large multi-disciplinary and/or cross-functional teams.
Basic Qualifications:
BS or above in Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering, or equivalent experience.
More than 10-year experience as an engineer or scientist within the appropriate field of study.
Master motion control and performance optimization.
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive segment direction utilizing internal and external resources on segment initiatives.
Demonstrated strategic planning with experience in driving technical evolution across the segment of products.
Desired Characteristics:
Master or PhD degree in mechatronic engineering, automatic control engineering or related.
Large medical device or industrial automatic control design experience preferred.
Plentiful of knowledge and experience in multi-axis synchronization and performance optimization.
Clear and strategic thinker with ability to drive change.
Demonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience on global product release throughout the entire NPI cycle.
Strong written and oral communication skill.
