Physicist position works in close collaboration in the GE HealthCare Physics team, to develop new products and supports ongoing activities and Install base systems .The physicist will work in close collaboration with various functions with the GE HealthCare Engineering team, and assess system performance, support product applications and on going activities

Job Description

The physicist will work in close collaboration with the GE HealthCare Engineering team, research sites, and clinical partners to assess system performance, support product applications and support ongoing activities.

Essential Responsibilities: Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Combining knowledge of physics to deliver new products based on gamma detection technology
• Implement system knowledge and multidisciplinary knowledge to optimize detection performance.
• Hands-on comprehensive system knowledge and testing procedures
• Use broad expertise in physics to help resolve urgent issues and support product, Field engineers & Marketing with current and future Nuclear Medicine products
• Evaluating and extending new concepts as well as providing innovation which can be developed into new product advantages.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• PhD in Physics
• Strong physicist from familiar university
• Excellent Hands on capabilities
• Relevant work experience
• Strong communication capabilities and Fluent English
• Experimental Physicist
• Good Matlab coding knowledge
• Demonstrated record of innovation in regulated area - Advantage
