Job Description Summary
This position is created to cover the site technical support needs for a specific Marshalling Harbour (onshore) before sending the turbines offshore. Ideally the candidate will be living close to the site ( New Bedford) or working on a 6-1 rotation. Once the project ends the engineer would join the Technical Support back office team supporting the operations worldwide, occasionally travelling to sites for support.Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
- Follow Haliade Commissioning Strategy to ensure an optimal on time works execution
- Create, Release and Control documentation for Haliade commissioning procedures considering the most up to date Electrical Machinery Standards
- Plan commissioning tests for the project, creating a detailed program of work; communicate and agree with the rest of the commissioning team and project leaders
- Ensure a proper link and communication between Commissioning Engineering and Design Engineering Departments
- Propose process improvements to optimize security and / or reduce costs; special attention should be paid to EHS compliance
- Support the back office purchasing team by defining clear tooling and spares lists to be acquired for the ongoing projects
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Technical Degree in electro-mechanics, industrial engineering, with similar or equivalent experience
Desired Characteristics:
- Computer Science: Knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Industrial and Management Software
- Spanish and Portuguese languages
- Experience in wind turbines commissioning and service
- Experience with tools, suppliers and use of quality tools
