- Leading the implementation of crisis stabilization services that provide immediate, short-term interventions
- Demonstrating knowledge of principles and techniques of mental health and substance abuse crisis intervention; principles and techniques of case management services and treatment planning; principles and techniques of human services delivery systems; individual and family counseling; family system dynamics; and inter- and intra-agency coordination
- Interfacing with local human services that may be of assistance in or have direct involvement in member services provision
- Working effectively with all types and/or level of people by maintaining a working relationship; exercising sound judgment; demonstrating initiative; maintaining confidentiality; and effectively communicating in written and oral form
- Assessing progress of the development of the crisis system services
- Compiling and preparing reports for inclusion in outlines and initial drafts of work plans, evaluations, and State reports
- Servings as subject matter expert regarding crisis referral, assessment, treatment and discharge protocols
- Analyzing Performance Measures related to crisis stabilization service
- Performing customer service tasks by managing internal & external customer requests
- Coordination with Carelink
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of clinical experience or Associate’s degree in Nursing with 5+ years of Behavioral Health experience or other behavioral health experience in lieu of professional licensure
- Must live in the State of New Mexico
Preferred Qualifications:
- LCSW, LMHC, LPCC, BSN, or Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health
- 5+ years of health care experience
- 2+ years of experience compiling, analyzing and reporting out on data to communicate trends and areas for opportunities to improve outcomes
- Experience with developing and implementing crisis stabilization
- Experience with mental health services and criminal justice
- Experience with data entry and use of data tracking systems
- Experience using the Web for research conducting purposes
- Ability to collect, analyze, and present data
- Subject matter expert regarding mental health and/or substance use disorder crisis stabilization
Soft Skills:
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Acute critical thinking ability
