We seek a full-time Float Pharmacist for the state of Connecticut to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners 
  • Provides information to customers about medications and their use 
  • Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service 
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy 
  • Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy 
  • Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy  or PharmD 
  • Current pharmacist’s license in the state of Connecticut
  • Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
  • CPR certified
  • Proven ability to drive with active driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current pharmacist’s license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Trained to administer long acting injectables or willing to become trained
  • Bilingual Spanish

 

Connecticut Residents Only: The hourly range for Connecticut residents is $40.87 to $80.43. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
