The Senior Collections Analyst is responsible for overseeing the collections process and ensuring timely payment from clients for services rendered. This position facilitates incoming payments, minimizes delinquent accounts, and reduces bad debt write-offs.
You will...
- Monitor account aging, collaborate with the sales team and Collections Manager to resolve past-due accounts
- Be firm in collections approach with clients to pay outstanding balances
- Negotiate payment plans, recommend bad debt write-offs
- Navigate payment discussions with customer finance personnel, employ tact and diplomacy to secure timely payments and adherence to payment schedules
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of connectRN and the consequences of non-payment
- Required: 2 days in the office
You have...
- Experience in debt collection and reduction of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Demonstrated persistence and tenacity in pursuing overdue accounts
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills to effectively engage with clients
- Extensive experience in handling collections
- Proficient in negotiating payment arrangements and settlements
- Detail-oriented and accurate in maintaining collection records and documentation
- Solution-driven approach to resolving outstanding balances
- Adaptable, flexible and able to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced collection environment
- Minimum 5 years experience in collections and customer service, customer interaction
