Summary
Cedar Gate Technologies is seeking a Business Systems Analyst 1 to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and quality assurance. This role ensures that business objectives are effectively translated into functional requirements and practical solutions. The position involves evaluating processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions. The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, designing workflows, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that boost efficiency, reduce costs, and drive organizational growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Elicit business requirements from clients and/or SME and/or Product Owner
• Analyze data scenarios and formulate logic for the desired solution
• Convert business requirements to software requirement documents
• Provide walkthroughs of the requirements and expected outcome to project team members and clarify confusions

• Review test plans/cases and provide feedback
• Provide internal sign-off on developed features

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 4+ year of relevant experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good analytical skills
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint & Google Docs, Sheets and Slides
• Good knowledge of SQL and database querying languages
• Knowledge of US healthcare will be a huge plus
