Summary

Cedar Gate Services is looking for a Mgr, Software Development Engineering who will manage a team of developers.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess project requirements and plan for the development team
• Design / review system architecture for the project
• Assign specific tasks to developers and monitor the status of those tasks
• Mitigate and manage project risks
• Work with others to get rid of project impediments
• Coordinate with other managers and related personnel from the US office for smooth delivery of projects
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and of high quality
• Continuously improve software engineering practices
• Recruit, train, and mentor resources
• Grant least privilege access to resources
• Monitor resource utilization
• Monitor the performance of resources
• Ensure that organizational policies and procedures are followed by the team
• Revoke access for resources rotating off the team or leaving the company
• Perform other related duties as necessary
  
  

Required Experience/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent leadership skills
