Summary
Cedar Gate Technologies is looking for an Associate Project Manager to lead and manage client-facing software development projects from initiation through delivery. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating project activities, managing cross-functional teams, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time. The ideal candidate will be organized, eager to learn, and possesses strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with an interest in building a career in software project management within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing project and sprint plans to support timely and high‑quality delivery
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies to ensure meetings are focused and productive
- Support the identification and removal of impediments to maintain a smooth and continuous delivery flow
- Manage stakeholder expectations by providing timely status updates, aligning on priorities, and escalting scope or timeline concerns when needed
- Proactively collaborate with stakeholders in Nepal and the US to resolve blockers and work closely with Product Owners to help refine and prioritize the backlog
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth end-to-end project execution
- Prepare project status reports and support the development of mitigation and contingency plans
- Track and maintain performance metrics to help measure team efficiency and sprint progess
- Support team communicaton and help address conflicts or collaboration challenges as they arise
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project practices by implementing learning and best practices across projects
Required Experience / Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in the software industry in project coordination, project management, or related role
- Strong analytical, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Flexible to support project needs, including occasional non-standard working hours
- Hands-on experience with JIRA reporting and Confluence documentation would be highly desirable
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies; Scrum Master training or certification is a plus
- Familiarity with US Healthcare data, systems, or domain processes is an advantage
