This Applications Support Specialist I will be responsible for:

Establishing and maintains a departmental desktop computer network. Providing support and training for departmental computer system applications. Develops and prepare user documentation and training materials. Integrating departmental presentation needs via the network. Assisting with electronic learning resource. Monitoring work queues to identify trends and problem areas. Under direct supervision, assists in designing, coding, developing, implementing, and maintaining applications that support a department or multiple departments in the hospital.

To qualify, you must have:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in computer science or a closely related field. Knowledge of project management software. Experience with HTML preferred. The analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in‑depth, experienced‑based cross‑functional knowledge. Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well‑developed writing skills.
