The Clinical Coaching team is responsible for driving athenaOne feature adoption, documentation efficiency and clinical outcomes through individual- and practice-level coaching engagements.
The Clinical Coaching Associate supports end-user clinicians via 1:1 coaching engagements, leveraging data to identify and improve goals. They also support clinical performance and operations administrators in the configuration and optimization of athenaClinicals to meet customer needs.The Associate may also assist in the development of scaled training and enablement resources, identifying and promoting best practices, and contributing to team process improvement and content development initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain knowledge of athenaClinicals EHR functionality and recommended workflows.
Deliver coaching calls while maintaining a high level of customer service and client satisfaction.
Assess end user improvement opportunities by analyzing current state product and services adoption
Assess athenaClinicals configurations and workflows; collaborate with customer administrative stakeholders to optimize workflows and meet organizational goals.
Support and/or conduct scaled coaching models, including e-learnings, virtual classroom, etc. as needed.
Project manage multiple simultaneous client engagements, ensuring expectations and deliverables are documented and met, key stakeholders are informed and client satisfaction is achieved
Manage and scope case-based requests for Clinical Coaching engagements
Liaise with customer stakeholders to schedule and drive adoption of the coaching service among new users
Offer up subject matter expertise, mentorship, leadership, and support as directed, to assist peers with training, knowledge transfer, and completion of their own project work.
Education & Experience Required:
BA/BS degree required
3+ years relevant experience
Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with peers and clients
Demonstrated experience successfully leading projects; defining deadlines, providing recommendations for delegating work, and surfacing blockers to leadership.
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of (or desire and ability to learn) medical terminology, EHRs, and value-based care landscape
Understanding of healthcare/ Health IT and in defining opportunities to improve healthcare preferred
Strong communication (both written and verbal) and customer-management skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively share knowledge and best practices with clients and internal stakeholders
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to identify issues, hypothesize solutions, and see them through to completion
Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks and challenges
Computer skills (Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools)
