We are seeking a highly motivated Process Automation Specialist who excels at leveraging creative problem-solving skills to support, configure, and assist in designing sophisticated automation solutions. This role requires a deep passion for innovating internal processes, dissecting complex operational challenges, and shaping decision-making through compelling, data-driven narratives.

The candidate will drive automation initiatives across workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy, while also playing a key role in influencing stakeholders by presenting clear and actionable insights. This position balances tactical execution with strategic facilitation, supporting operational excellence, business growth, and the importance of automating and streamlining internal processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and execution of advanced process automation initiatives.

  • Apply creative and analytical thinking to dissect and solve complex workflow issues, developing innovative solutions that reduce manual effort and increase reliability.

  • Utilize data analytics to uncover root causes and emerging trends that inform automation improvement strategies.

  • Prioritize streamlining and automating internal processes within the Automation Operations team and across all stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with manual process experts to ensure seamless integration between automated solutions and existing manual workflows.

  • Support ongoing service health and outcomes initiatives by integrating automation insights into broader business strategies.

  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to clarify priorities and drive coordinated execution of automation improvements and internal processes.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or commensurate level of professional experience)

  • Healthcare/athenaOne experience preferred

  • Experience with data structures (SQL/JSON) and/or API architecture a plus

  • Experience working with cross-functional groups and teams to achieve common goals and communicating and presenting to stakeholders

  • Demonstrated success creatively solving complex problems using automation with the assistance of AI or advanced automation tools

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders through impactful, data-driven storytelling and communication.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Expertise in leveraging AI and automation platforms to streamline complex processes

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, OneNote

  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or similar methodologies for process improvement

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an extended, cross-functional team

  • Quantitative skills and an understanding of analytics in support of projects and daily activities
