We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our IDX Team.

IDX is a business unit under athenahealth providing Revenue Cycle Management and Electronic Data Interchange solutions. IDX analytics is a sub-division of IDX. IDX Analytics focuses on delivering world-class business intelligence solutions to improve financial outcomes, productivity, quality, and compliance for IDX Revenue Cycle systems using advanced analytics framework. We proudly serve our customers with solutions such as DenialsIQ, Gamify, Client Metrics and Activity metrics. There are two scrum teams, one based out of our Bangalore office and the other one in the Seattle (remote). We utilize Java, Angular, Azure, Microsoft SQL technologies to power our solutions. We follow Agile practices and related tools to manage our software development life cycle.

This position offers the opportunity to work with Analytics Infrastructure to bring innovative and cloud-based applications providing insights into practice management solutions. Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality code to production as a full stack developer in an Agile team.

  • Work with Cloud Engineering and Data Center to deploy the products in various environments.

  • Work closely with the Architect and other engineers from the Seattle and Bangalore locations.

  • Troubleshoot production and non-production issues and resolve.

  • Develop knowledge and act as a subject matter expert for an area of assignment.

  • Adhere to agile practices and follow best practices & team norms.

Technical Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

  • 4+ years of experience in an engineering role.

  • Hands-on experience in Java and Angular.

  • Prior experience with Spring MVC framework or equivalent is desirable.

  • Expertise with SQL Server, ETL, and OLAP technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure technologies is preferred.

  • Experience in an Agile environment is preferred.

  • Knowledge of PowerBI and CI/CD a plus.

  • Knowledge of Machine Learning/AI technologies is helpful.

  • Exposure to leading test frameworks.
