Brief Overview:

As a Backend Developer Level III, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and responsiveness of our applications.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain backend components using Java with Spring or Node.js.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
• System Architecture:
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of scalable and secure backend solutions.
• Optimize existing systems for performance and reliability.
• Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement technical requirements.
• Engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD processes and automate deployments.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of the system architecture, APIs, and development processes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring, or 3+ years of experience with Node.js.
• Strong understanding of backend development principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and integrating with various data sources.
• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with Google Cloud Dataflow (CDR) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
