Brief Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to help lead our Business Systems team, focusing primarily on our Salesforce CRM and Data Cloud platforms. This role will be pivotal in ensuring optimal health and continuous improvement of Salesforce and its integrated applications. This position requires a strategic and hands-on approach to managing the technical aspects of CRM platform upgrades, code and configuration changes, and deployment processes. The position reports directly to the Director, Business Systems.

Core Responsibilities:

  • CRM Health: Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the Salesforce platform, including system integrations, data integrity, and necessary platform upgrades.
  • Release Management: Lead the planning, coordination and execution of bi-weekly releases, utilizing Gearset Devops solution. Operationalize consistent release summary communication to stakeholders.
  • CRM Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest developments and innovations in CRM technology. Drive innovation within Salesforce through the implementation of new AI capabilities, ensuring that these advancements align with guidance from the Amwell AI steering committee, business goals, and user needs.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into technical requirements and initiatives.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor Business Systems Analysts and Administrators responsible for Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Data Cloud, and Mulesoft Anypoint Platform among other integrated technologies.
  • Project Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of enhancements and automation with the Salesforce CRM ecosystem.
  • Change Management: Implement best practices for change control and configuration management within Salesforce CRM, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants involved in Salesforce implementation and support.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management, with at least 7 years specifically focused on Salesforce CRM.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customization and administration. Multiple Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Certified Administrator) required.
  • Experience and proven expertise in specialty Salesforce solutions: Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Einstein 1 platform, and/or Mulesoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Experience managing DevOps solutions (Gearset preferred).
  • Experience driving CRM innovation through the adoption of new technologies and capabilities, particularly in AI and automation.
  • Strong project management skills with track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or Agile environment preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

The typical base salary range for this position is $132400-$182050. The actual salary offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role. Some roles may be commission based, in which case the total compensation will be based on a commission and the above range may not be an accurate representation of total compensation.
