Lead Technology Business Systems Analyst

Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) is looking for a Lead Technology Business Systems Analyst to play a central role in driving the seamless, effective execution of Digital Solutions (DS) initiatives at AHP. This position merges traditional business analysis responsibilities with hands-on delivery support and cross-functional coordination, providing critical operational lift across a growing portfolio of technology-enabled services and internal platforms.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Solutions, the Lead Business Systems Analyst will help to bridge the space between planning and implementation. You will translate business needs into actionable requirements, support intake and triage processes, drive issue resolution, and ensure documentation and workflows stay aligned with evolving delivery needs.
This is a highly collaborative, execution-focused role for someone who brings clarity, structure, and follow-through to complex initiatives and who is energized by working at the intersection of strategy, systems, and service delivery. By strengthening the tools and platforms that enable AHP’s programs, this role supports the organization’s ability to deliver meaningful impact at scale.
Responsibilities
- Translate Complex Business Needs into Detailed Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document comprehensive requirements that enable technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Enable Cross-Functional Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a coordination point across internal teams to drive clear communication and ensure issues or dependencies are surfaced early. Support facilitation of consistent information flow and alignment among technical teams, program leadership, operations, finance, legal, and other key departments critical to successful delivery.
- Ensure Teams Have the Information and Connections Necessary to Keep Work Moving Forward: Stay engaged with active initiatives to identify emerging needs or issues and help teams connect with the right resources and information to address those needs efficiently.
- Coordinate Intake Process Execution and Preparation: Assist in organizing and clarifying new work requests, preparing them for review and prioritization. Support intake workflows and help ensure key details are in place to facilitate smooth execution.
- Maintain Key Documentation to Support Team Alignment: Capture and update essential information that helps ensure shared understanding, continuity, and transparency across Digital Solutions activities.
- Facilitate Implementation Readiness and Adoption: Help coordinate training and communications to enable effective deployment of digital solutions.
- Support Scalable Operational Practices: Contribute to the design and documentation of repeatable workflows, tools, and standards that enhance delivery consistency and prepare the team for future growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
- At least 5-7 years of combined experience in business analysis, project management, or scrum master roles within a technology-driven environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and align teams without direct authority.
- Demonstrated ability to elicit and document complex business and technical requirements, including user stories, process flows, and system interactions.
- Hands-on experience working within Agile and/or SAFe frameworks, including backlog refinement, team coordination, and iterative planning.
- Proven success enabling cross-functional collaboration and aligning business goals with technical execution across multiple initiatives.
- Proficiency with collaboration and workflow management platforms to support visibility, documentation, and delivery efficiency.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on clarity, structure, and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting change readiness and user adoption, including training and stakeholder engagement.
- Certification in Agile or SAFe practices (e.g., SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner).
- Experience with intake or prioritization processes in digital or technology operations.
- Background in professional services or public sector organizations.

Work Hours and Expectations
This is a full-time, exempt position. As such, the role is not eligible for overtime compensation under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). While the standard workweek is 40 hours, exempt employees are expected to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. This may include occasional evenings or extended hours during periods of high activity, critical deadlines, or special projects. Flexibility, accountability, and a results-oriented mindset are essential to success in this role.
Location
All work must be performed within the United States or its territories. Employees are required to reside in, and carry out their job responsibilities from, a location within the U.S. or a U.S. territory for the duration of their employment. Limited exceptions may be granted for short-term personal or business travel outside of these areas, subject to prior written approval and in compliance with company policy.
Salary Range:
The starting salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $135,000, depending on experience, education, and other factors.

The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the AHP salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be high or low in the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and education. The range listed is just one component of AHP’s total employee compensation package.
