About the Position:
Location: Remote in the United States. Remote in the United States, preferably CST or EST.
Under the direction of senior staff, the Project Manager’s specific work may include:
Project Planning and Execution:

Developing and managing detailed project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Coordinating internal and external resources to ensure effective and efficient project execution.

Monitoring and tracking project progress, adjusting schedules and plans as necessary.
Stakeholder Management:
-
Leading project teams and shaping outcomes and behavior of internal and external stakeholders without direct organizational oversight.

Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Budget and Resource Management:
-
Developing and managing project and program budgets.

Allocating resources effectively to maximize project outcomes.
Communication and Reporting:
-
Preparing and delivering high-level professional communication, both verbally and in writing.

Developing project materials, including templates, reports, presentation slides, and other documents.
Problem Solving and Decision Making:
-
Identifying and resolving project issues using nuanced approaches.

Exercising sound judgment and exhibit appropriate independent problem-solving, while seeking additional guidance when necessary.
Self-Management and Organization:

Managing personal tasks and supporting others' task management, being flexible with multiple priorities.

Taking initiative and exhibit strong self-management and organizational skills.
AHP influences change in health and business systems to support vulnerable populations—from creating policy to ground-level, hands-on work. Our areas of expertise include behavioral health, mental health policy and services, substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, workforce development, homelessness, housing and employment. programs, trauma-informed care, criminal justice, women and children, veterans, health care reform, and population health management.

Education and Training
Candidates for this position should possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, public health, public administration, or similar field. Professional experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
Professional Experience
We are seeking candidates with 3-5 years of experience in operations or project coordination or management.

Salary Range: $79,000 to $90,000
AHP, to be transparent with applicants about salary and in compliance with various state pay disclosure requirements, publishes the following information, which is current as of the date of posting. The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the AHP salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be high or low in the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and education. The range listed is just one component of AHP’s total employee compensation package.
