Contract Recruiter

Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) is seeking a contract recruiter for an engagement lasting three to six months. You will work closely with hiring managers in various departments to define recruitment needs, plan the hiring process, and execute it.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Lead Recruitment Intake calls with the hiring team and implements the AHP Recruitment Process
  • Screen all applicants through our ATS (ClearCompany), conduct initial interviews, and schedule and set up hiring team interviews.
  • Recruit for 10 – 15 requisitions.
  • Identify and cultivate a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Assess potential applicants' suitability for the available role, taking into account the candidates’ knowledge, experience, training, skills, and aptitudes.
  • Conduct initial interviews of candidates.
  • Conduct reference checks.
  • Manage all communication with candidates from the application through onboarding.
  • Utilize AHP’s LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS account, sponsoring jobs and posting, managing, replying to inbox messages, and running reports.
  • Focus on providing a great candidate experience at every opportunity.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Familiarity and experience with full-cycle recruitment.
  • Experience in or knowledge of applicant tracking systems, and human resource information systems.
  • Understand relevant state and federal laws that affect the recruiting process and ensure compliance.
  • Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the flexibility to assess and tailor communication style to others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective prioritization
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with peers and across the organization.
  • Ability to build relationships and maintain an open mindset.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational and follow-through skills

Experience and Education

  • 3 to 5 years of recruiting experience for an organization, agency, or executive search firm strongly preferred, ideally in a behavioral health or professional services environment.

Contract Rate: $30 - $50 per hour.
