Summary

AHP is actively seeking a highly skilled and dynamic professional to enhance our forward-thinking Digital Solutions team. As a Scrum Master and Technology Project Manager, you will be a cornerstone in ensuring the seamless alignment between stakeholders, technology teams, and our valued clients. Your proactive approach to addressing challenges will be pivotal, as you navigate and liaise with internal teams, vendors, and various stakeholders to fulfill project requirements. Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, technology teams, and end-users to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Function as a Scrum Master/coach for one or more Agile teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to teams on Agile methodologies.
  • Provide guidance and support to project team members to organize and facilitate project planning
  • Drive team and management communication regarding scope, schedule, budget, resources, and potential issues, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
  • Implement risk management strategies and proactively address project challenges.
  • Work directly with department staff, as well as vendors (if applicable) to help other departments in fulfilling the requirements of assigned projects
  • Coordinate project team members and develop schedules and individual responsibilities on assigned projects
  • Anticipate project support needs to help ensure implementation specialists are aligned with project goals and timelines
  • Organize meetings to discuss project goals and progress

Preferred Skills/Prerequisites

  • 5+ years demonstrated cross-functional project management/scrum master experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with specific emphasis on the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to convey specific, observable, and measurable expectations for project deliverables
  • Creative and collaborative problem-solving and stakeholder management capability
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments and offices
  • Expert-level organization, time management/task scheduling and resource planning skills
  • Familiarity with product backlogs and contributing to product strategy a plus
  • Experience in planning meetings that include the right people and agendas that makes appropriate use of the scheduled time
  • Effective time management abilities
  • Scaled Agile, CSM, CSPO or PM/SM certification preferred
  • Jira experience is a plus
  • Prior experience with federal, state, or local government a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

BA/BS with (4-6) years of experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000

AHP, in an effort to be transparent with applicants about salary and in compliance with various state pay disclosure requirements, publishes the following information which is current as of the date of posting. The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the AHP salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be high or low in the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. The range listed is just one component of AHP’s total compensation package for employees.
