The Acute Care Technology division of ZOLL Medical Corporation is focused on "beating heart" therapies for hospitals. Post-cardiac arrest, STEMI heart attack, and severe fever are some of the applications of ZOLL's unique devices. Fully integrated, ZOLL Acute Care Technology researches, develops, manufactures, and sells novel technologies includes ZOLL Temperature Management Solutions. Temperature Management Solutions empower physicians to "prescribe" a temperature and achieve it.

Essential Functions

    • Consultancy and support for Health Care Professionals
    • Learn and explain how to develop an adequate pipeline of potential sales to meet territory sales expectations.
    • Responsible for providing the required in-service education to customers.
    • Provide IVTM therapy education to the physician specialists, advanced practice providers and medical practice personnel with the goal of increasing therapy awareness.
    • Responsible for maintaining organized account records, including account profiles in SalesForce.com.
    • Complaints Management Handling
    • Learn and explain how to run territory and market analysis, including competitors.
    • Participation in trade fairs and congresses
    • Responsible for maintaining and tracking demo and evaluation inventory. In addition, equipment must be maintained and presented in good working manner.
    • Update of current study knowledge

    Business Management & Sales Execution

    • Support indirect selling efforts for the achievement of planned sales, revenue, and objectives within the area of competence.
    • Achieve sales targets, goals, objectives, and specific strategies and plans to meet and/or exceed those goals.
    • Learn how to implement strategies to optimize customer performance, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Conduct reporting and forecasting on commercial results derived from commercial activities.

    Required/Preferred Education and Experience

      • 2-3 years clinical or sales experience; selling or supporting interventional cardiology, vascular or surgical products.
      • Knowledge of ZOLL and/or competitive products
      • Customer oriented selling skills
      • Organizational and Time Management Skills
      • Understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology
      • Experience teaching and educating medical personnel, peers and technical support personnel.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

      • Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
      • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
      • Project management skills with experience coordinating programs.
      • Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures, and the medical device industry
      • Effectively build and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues across organizational levels and functions.
      • Ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines.
      • Strong work ethic in accomplishing objectives of the position
      • Language Skills: German and English advanced
