What You Will Achieve
Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment.
As a Manager, you provide cross-functional guidance to operational teams for managing projects. You will be setting priorities, forecasting and allocating resources needed to complete all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as well as providing areas of improvement for products, processes or services. Through your comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts and theories of the discipline, you will also work towards advancing new concepts and methodologies.

How You Will Achieve It
Lead multi-disciplinary Site Energy Team to drive success of the site energy management program
Understand site energy budget (cost and volumes)
Routinely monitor and trend energy usage and associated cost.

Conduct site energy assessments to identify reduction / conservation opportunities on a programmed basis.
Evaluate, oversee & prioritize opportunities.
Drive energy related projects to completion.
Confirm realization of energy savings.
Communicate regularly to the site leadership and site population on energy program goals and progress against those goals
Implement energy management system to achieve certification for ISO50001

Contribute to Pfizer Net Zero program
Coordinate with other energy managers within the Pfizer network.
Share energy conservation success stories
Participate in development of energy procurement strategy, maintaining familiarity with the key aspects of the site’s supply side management

Be familiar with and co-ordinate the use of ECC Program tools at the site
Including Green Building Evaluations for proposed expansions & new facilities
Provide guidance, lead/co-lead projects, manage own time to meet objectives, and plan resource requirements for projects across the department.
Provide technical engineering oversight to develop project execution plans, and associated engineering studies for equipment component installation etc.
Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety procedures, quality standards, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, other regulatory agency standards, and good maintenance practices.

Provide good judgment and innovation by utilizing and adapting a broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices acquired through progressive experience.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience OR an associates degree with 8 years of experience OR a bachelors with at least 5 years of experience OR Masters Degree with more than 3 years of experience, OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience.
Certification in Energy Management, CEM
Demonstrated time management skills, ability to work on multiple projects at a time
Working knowledge of Engineering Document Management Systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders, plant partners, engineers and maintenance persons
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and build teams across functions and levels in the organization
Nice-to-Have
Relevant pharmaceutical experience
Experience with System Application & Products
Project Management experience
