What You Will Achieve
You will oversee and manage operational aspects of product changeover and ongoing improvement projects, acting as a liaison between Project Team and Line Management in a matrix structure. You will support our programs by managing the status of the project, schedules, and preparing status reports. You will assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client satisfactions goals.
As a Project Manager for Product Changeover, you provide guidance to operational teams for managing projects. Your planning skills will help in preparing forecasts for resource requirements, and providing areas of improvement for products, processes or services. Through your comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts and theories of this discipline, you will work towards advancing new concepts and methodologies. You will be able to take a leadership role to facilitate agreements between different teams.

How You Will Achieve It
- Lead projects, provide guidance and manage own time to meet objectives.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Forecast and plan resource requirements (people, financial and technology) for projects across the department.
- Manage cross-functional team members in a matrix environment
- Manage and participate in pre-studies, projects and other activities for increasing operational efficiencies, change in business strategies or in support of operational imperatives.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience OR an associates degree with 6 years of experience OR a bachelors with at least 3 years of experience OR Masters with more than 1 year of experience.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial / customer facing roles across the business
- Proven experience with Manufacturing Operation of Drug Substance, Tech Transfer, or Product Changeover between batches and campaigns
- Knowledge of the workings of pharmaceutical manufacturing, and associated processes
- Experience working in Pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} environment
- Pro-active and has a creative, entrepreneurial attitude with evidence of ability to execute key projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge and certification of operational excellence methodologies (Six Sigma and Lean etc.)
- Specific experience managing pharmaceutical/technical projects and/or clinical programs.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Assisting in handling and moving large mobile processing equipment. On-the-floor presence including standing and walking.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Typically, a standard Monday through Friday work schedule on 1st shift.
May require support for site as needed beyond core business hours.
