Director I Payment Innovation, Specialty Care
The Director I Payment Innovation, Specialty Care develops, implements, and manages enterprise provider performance measurement and reward programs for hospitals and physicians.
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Must reside within 50 miles/1 hour commute of an Elevance Health location.
How you will make an impact:
- Designs and manages infrastructure and strategies related to performance measurement reporting and reward programs for physicians and hospitals.
- Determines the financial/utilization data and clinical data required to assist our providers in rendering evidenced based, high quality health care that is cost effective.
- Develops specialty specific physician payment innovation program models to compliment PC2 efforts and to support transparency initiatives.
- Oversees the development of end to end process requirements, toolkits including contract templates and serves as a subject matter expert in the deployment of programs in the markets.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 8 years experience in strategic planning and project management, preferably in the health insurance industry; experience with network management, data operations, managed care operations and competitive Healthcare delivery environment; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Strongly preferred Master's degree.
- Management experience preferred
- Experience with building technical financial models and risk arrangements
- Experience leading design and execution of Value Based Payment models within the specialty provider space (e.g., oncology, maternity, cardiac, musculoskeletal, etc.)
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $131,800 to $249,102.
